Also love that you are segmenting your optins based on user behavior– very smart! But curious, why are you using Google Tag Manager instead of OptinMonster’s built-in page-level targeting? I was excited to read about the massive success of this company using Optinmonster to increase their subscribers.

I’m new to Optinmonster and have just launched my first optin: a full-screen Welcome Gate. I’m a micro business owner and I don’t need millions of subscribers. I just need more conversion (commitment) from the people who do visit. I believe that’s going to happen, and I love how professional Optinmonster makes me look.

I learned some valuable things from this article. For instance, the insights and illustrations about using images was enlightening and motivational. Also, I’ve never used A/B split testing before. That always seemed way too technical for my capabilities. (I’m a coach not a marketer.) But this explained it to me in simple terms and now I can’t wait to do some split testing!

We would be disappointed with anything less than 3%.

Why? Because we segment the opt-ins based on visitor user behaviour and pages visited using Google Tag Manager. This ensures the lead magnets are highly relevant and show at the right time, to the right people.

Oh, and we don’t use e-books or reports anymore. We found that people simply don’t have the time to read through this stuff, people are much more interested in ‘growth hacks’ or ‘cheat sheets’.
